The APACHE Team has just joined the International Low Temperature Plasma Community (ILTPC), an informal organization with an international membership of researchers from the field of low temperature plasmas (LTPs)
We are happy to announce that the APACHE team has joined the International Low Temperature Plasma Community (ILTPC).
One outcome of the COVID-19 crisis is that most (if not all) of this year’s low temperature plasma (LTP) conferences and workshops have been canceled or postponed. The international Low Temperature Plasma community is, perhaps, the most collegial and collaborative collection of professionals and students on the planet. Everyone respects and cares for each other. So many of these enjoyable and productive interactions occur at conferences, workshops and symposia, most of which will not be held this year. To help maintain these connections, the International Low Temperature Plasma Community (ILTPC) has just been created and its first newsletter has been released.
The ILTPC is an informal organization with an international membership of researchers from the field of low temperature plasmas (LTPs). Established in April 2020, it has the goal of being a forum for communication, collaboration and conversation for the LTP community. The structure of the ILTPC will evolve with time, and will soon have more specialized interest groups. The first issue of the ILTPC Newsletter is now available online
