Yesterday, Dec. 17th, 2019, the APACHE team celebrated their 1st Internal Workshop at EEBE, Barcelona (Spain).

While the world has stopped due to the Coronavirus crisis, APACHE's team keeps working from home, to to investigate the fundamentals involved in the lethal effects of cold plasmas on bone cancer cells, and to develop improved bone cancer therapies by combining different strategies.

The APACHE Team has just joined the International Low Temperature Plasma Community (ILTPC), an informal organization with an international membership of researchers from the field of low temperature plasmas (LTPs)

A series of bi-weekly online plasma-related seminars have been organized in order to keep the low temperature plasma (LTP) community together. Dr. Cristina Canal, APACHE project leader, will offer a conference on "How can we exploit biomaterials for the benefit of plasma medicine" on June, 9th.

Dr. Canal gave a talk on the potential of biomaterials in the field of Plasma Medicine in one of the Online Low Temperature Plasma Seminars, organized during de COVID-19 pandemia.

Dr. Cédric Labay et al. have just published a paper on “Enhanced Generation of Reactive Species by Cold Plasma in Gelatin Solutions for Selective Cancer Cell Death”, at ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces.

We are happy to announce the 7th International Workshop on Plasma for Cancer Treatment (IWPCT-2021), organized by APACHE's IP, Dr. Cristina Canal, at EEBE (UPC), in Barcelona on June 29th-30th 2021.

Dr. Canal gave a talk on "Merging cold plasmas and biomaterials for osteosarcoma therapy" in an Online Seminar organized by the Institute of Nanotechnology CNR-NANOTEC (Italy).
